About
Here, I produced a postcard invitation for a travelling pop-up art exhibition called Unfold-A Celebration of Design through Time. The design needed to demonstrate the visual language it uses to speak to audiences from all walks of life.
It made me think of mediums that humans first started using back in our earliest times to speak visually with one another. Cave paintings came to mind & rock drawings are a medium used by our prehistoric ancestors. Today, we see design globally through our modern-day mobile devices. So, I put the two together.
After much trial and error, the finished look came together. I remember it took around 20 attempts of covering my hand in flour to get the desired look for the final shot. I continued trying and eventually ended up with the perfect look. It was a labour of love, but it ultimately paid off! Using Adobe Photoshop to finish the job, the photo looked amazing and was well worth the effort.
